Studied business administration, worked from 1968 to 1980 as a tax adviser and certified public accountant with TREUARBEIT AG (now PwC) and from 1980 to 2007 with Germanischer Lloyd Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg (from 1990 as a board member). With Schomerus since 2008.

Advising small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in the services sector, shipping and shipbuilding, advice on setting up and looking after foreign subsidiaries/ branches of German firms, trusteeship activities
